Neighborhood spotlight

Mills 50

Just north of the downtown core, where Mills Avenue meets Colonial Drive (State Road 50), a different Orlando comes into focus: independent kitchens, small music rooms and streets alive with art. The food-and-nightlife energy many locals once associated with downtown has found another home here.

College Park

About 5 minutes northwest of downtown Orlando, College Park has a quieter, residential pace than Mills 50, with brick tree-lined streets, lakes and an independent dining strip on Edgewater Drive, known as “The Drive.” The neighborhood takes its name from streets named after colleges, including Dartmouth, Princeton and Yale.

SoDo

South of Downtown Orlando, SoDo is a Main Street district around S. Orange Avenue and E. Michigan Street in the 32806 area. Historic neighborhoods, lakes and walkable parks frame a district that keeps changing—an easy place to find a different side of Orlando beyond the parks.

The practical stuff

A few good questions.

Is this an official Orlando tourism or theme park website?

No. Entertain Orlando is an independent editorial guide and is not endorsed by any attraction or tourism authority. Attraction names are trademarks of their respective owners.

How many theme parks should I plan in one trip?

That depends on your time and energy. One major park per day is a useful starting point, and a slower day between big outings often makes the whole trip better.

Do I need a rental car in Orlando?

Not necessarily. It depends on where you stay and how far your plans spread. Compare rideshare, rental cars, hotel transport, parking and any day trips before deciding.

Are the prices and hours on this site current?

Ticket prices shown are 'from' prices copied from the seller with the date we checked them, refreshed monthly. Prices vary by travel date, and hours and policies change, so always confirm the final price and details with the seller or venue before booking.
